According to PropertyShark, which released the report, eight of the 10 properties that made the list (of most expensive traded) are in Westchester, with the remaining two in Dutchess. They considered every county north of NYC, including Westchester and Rockland.
Slotting in third on the list was financier Steven Rattner’s Rye waterfront oasis, which sold in July to Grace Church St LLC for $12.8 million. PropertyShark highlighted the six-bedroom, six-bathroom property’s “stunning views of Long Island,” and the home’s 1,000 feet of shoreline.
The purchase was behind only the former Pocantico Hills estate of the late David Rockefeller and a $15.8 million home in North Salem that was purchased by Bill Gates for his daughter.
